Children's Ministry |
 |
We have lots of great children here at Bridgeway and they need loving, caring people to tell them about the God who created the universe and sent His Son to demonstrate His love. The children's ministry has been completely re-organized and there are many new ways to help from teaching a story to playing music so the children can have their own worship service. If you love children and want to show them the love of God then you will find your gifts being fully used here.

Awana is an international, Bible-centered children's ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs, programs, and training for students ages 2 through eighth grade. Our goal is to equip churches to reach kids, and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. Children participate each week in high-energy games, Scripture memorization, and council time with their fellow "AWANA clubbers" by age group: "Puggles" for our littlest ones, "Cubbies", "Sparkys", "Truth in Training" for our older children, and "TREK" for our middle school children. AWANA at Bridgeway is held on Sunday evenings from 5:30 - 7pm.
